In 1869, the Speakman Company set up shop in Wilmington, Delaware. Allen Speakman
and his brother Joseph went to work building a small plumbing and steam fitting business. With a pioneering spirit, a belief in innovation and an unwavering dedication to craft, their company went on to introduce the world to the modern-day shower, as well as full lines of premium Bath, Plumbing and Safety products.
